WE do not raise our call for revolution lightly - recognizing that this is the gravest of matters, to be considered in all its consequences. Nevertheless, with that said, it has become unavoidably apparent that we are left with no other choice - that if we are to restore our independence as free American citizens, that if we are to take back our promised legacy of individual Liberty, then the time for further fruitless talk and negotiation has long since passed. The tragic fact is that moneyed interests have incrementally taken control of our government, leaving men and women of good conscience with no effective voice... That our elected representatives no longer heed the will of the people, and that even if they would, the very mind of the average citizen has been subverted and perverted through years of systematic misinformation and reeducation toward a collectivized socialist ideal that is nowhere akin to the vision of individual independence of thought and action which was realized by our Founding Fathers. We have been forced to admit that the two-party monopoly on national politics, together with its enthusiastic accomplices in the mass-media, have left us with the non-alternative choice between a fast-track to a Totalitarian State and a slightly slower path to still more of the same. We must brace ourselves to the heartrending reality that a true movement towards a significantly smaller government is not merely unlikely, nor a matter of waiting for some charismatic leader of integrity to finally come along and set things aright, but that the realization of a smaller, right-sized government has become an outright impossibility in the system as is... Simply put - We shall find no solace for Liberty in the voting booth. At this juncture, to hold on to the hope that situations will significantly change within the existing state of affairs goes beyond mere foolish denial and flies into the realm of flagrant irresponsibility. One must have the courage to relinquish empty hope before one can rightly consider an alternative course of action. Furthermore, we recognize with sincere alarm that even now, the window of opportunity for taking action narrows quickly as civil liberties are being relentlessly curtailed by both of the major political factions... And that soon it could well be too late for any effective uprising to form and take action at all. Therefore, we are gathering and organizing to take back our nation... To reassert our liberty and commitment to the Constitution, and thus we declare our new revolution! |
